WINNIPEG – The St. Louis Blues fall 5-3 to the Winnipeg Jets in Game 1 of the first-round Stanley Cup playoffs matchup.
The Blues carried a 3-2 lead into the third period, before the Jets rallied for three unanswered goals.
The Jets tied it with roughly 10 minutes left in the third period. Kyle Connor scored the decisive game-winning goal with 1:36 left in regulation. And Winnipeg added a regulation goal in the final minute.
Robert Thomas, Oskar Sundqvist and Jordan Kyrou all scored goals for the Blues.
Game 2 is set for Monday evening with a 6 p.m. CT puck drop.
