Jordan Kyrou scored in overtime to lift the St. Louis Blues to a 4-3 win over the visiting Dallas Stars at Enterprise Center on Thursday night. Kyrou scored on a great setup by Robert Thomas, answering back after blowing a 3-1 third period lead.
The Blues got a second period goal from Mathieu Joseph to tie the game at 1-1. New Blues defenseman Philip Broberg scored in the third period to give St. Louis a 2-1 lead. Kasperi Kapanen then scored on a spin-a-ram backhand shot taht put the Blues up 3-1. The Stars got back to back goals from Logan Stankoven to tie the game sending it to overtime.
Kyrou then provided the game winner in overtime.
The regular season starts for the Blues next Tuesday, October 8th at Seattle. It’s a 3:30 PM face off.
