Dylan Holloway’s goal 1:40 into overtime was the winner in the Blues 4-3 victory Tuesday night in Vancouver. The Canucks had tied the game 3-3 with 1:52 to go in regulation on a score by Jake DeBrusk to send the game to overtime.
The Blues also got goals from Zack Bolduc to tie the game at 1-1 in the first period. Robert Thomas scored a shorthanded goal giving St. Louis a 2-1 lead in the opening period. Jordan Kyrou’s power play goal in the second period gave the Blues a 3-1 lead, his 10th goal of the season. The Canucks then scored twice to even the game, one goal coming in the second period and then the tying goal late in the third.
Joel Hofer made 22 saves to get the win in goal. The Blues return home Thursday to host the San Jose Sharks at 7 PM.
