ST. LOUIS – Carolyn Kindle, the CEO and owner of St. Louis CITY SC, is set to join the St. Louis Blues’ ownership team with a minority stake.
Kindle will take on a minority ownership stake in the Blues previously held by Andy Taylor, an original member of Blues chairman Tom Stillman’s group that purchased the franchise in 2012.
The Blues formally announced the part-ownership change on Wednesday. Kindle is Taylor’s niece.
“Carolyn Kindle is a welcome addition to our ownership group. Through her work in sports and philanthropy, Carolyn has demonstrated a strong passion for St. Louis that is shared by our entire group,” said Stillman via a news release.”
“We are eternally grateful to Andy for his tremendous support of the Blues, along with his monumental contributions to the St. Louis region. Andy will always be a respected member of the Blues family,” Stillman added.
