Sonny Gray pitched six innings, allowing just one run to win his 12th game of the season. Paul Goldschmidt’s rbi double in the third inning gave the Redbirds a 2-0 lead. Masyn Winn hit his 12th home run of the year to give the Cards a 3-1 cushion in the sixth inning. With the victory, the Cardinals get back to the .500 mark at 67-67. They travel to New York this weekend for a series against the Yankees beginning Friday night.
