A few days after the St. Louis Cardinals hinted at changes coming, the team is ready to move forward with a new front-office voice. The Cardinals held a press conference Monday at Busch Stadium to discuss the series of moves with a focus on 2025 and beyond. As expected, Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol will remain with the club in 2025. With the 2025 season set to be president of baseball operations John Mozeliak’s last, Chaim Bloom will see a far more prominent role. The former Boston Red Sox chief baseball officer will become Mozeliak’s successor after the 2025 season.
More to come.
