1:20pm: ESPN’s Jeff Passan now tweets that Miller is NOT in the trade.
1:06pm: Prospects Jeral Perez, Alexander Albertus and Noah Miller are headed from L.A. to Chicago in the deal, per Nightengale. Meanwhile, FanSided’s Robert Murray reports that outfielder Tommy Pham is headed back to St. Louis in the trade. Yahoo’s Russell Dorsey tweets that Vargas, Perez, Albertus and Miller is the White Sox’ entire return in the swap.
1:00pm: In addition to Edman, the Dodgers are also acquiring right-hander Michael Kopech from the White Sox, reports Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
12:57pm: The White Sox are acquiring infielder/outfielder Miguel Vargas from the Dodgers in the deal, Nightengale further reports.
12:54pm: USA Today’s Bob Nightengale tweets that Fedde will indeed go to the Cardinals and Edman will go to the Dodgers. The White Sox are acquiring prospects from both teams in what’s now an agreed-upon trade.
12:46pm: The Cardinals, White Sox and Dodgers are closing in on a three-team trade that would send right-hander Erick Fedde from Chicago to St. Louis and infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman from St. Louis to Los Angeles, Ken Rosenthal and Katie Woo of The Athletic report. Daryl Van Schouwen off the Chicago Sun-Times reported shortly beforehand that the three teams work getting close to some sort of deal. KPRC-2’s Ari Alexander reported last night that there had been some talks on a deal of this nature.
