One of the authorities on STL sports joins the podcast to give his perspective!
We had the pleasure and honor of having the great Bernie Miklasz join us as our final guest before Opening Day. We were under the threat of inclement weather Friday night and Heather wound up in a stair well with tornado sirens going off in the middle of recording. Not even 30 seconds after the conclusion of us recording I had to drive home in some of the most surreal conditions with steady rain, wind at a dead stand still, and tornado sirens blaring at my back knowing the impending danger that was headed my way. It continues to speak volumes in my mind the commitment and insistence on bringing you readers the very best content possible. Everyone thankfully came out unscathed from the storm but we pushed the limits for the episode for sure!
Bernie was absolutely in mid-season form and because of that we didn’t want to limit his thoughts. Therefore, we’re breaking this episode into two parts to keep the insight in more easily digestible lengths so that we don’t pass the point where it goes from informative and engaging to being drawn out and tuned out.
