It’s still early in the morning but National Signing Day is quickly providing a some interesting decisions – and not just from the high school prospects.
On Wednesday, Georgia linebacker Darris Smith, who entered the transfer portal earlier this month, announced his commitment decision. Taking to Instagram, he announced that he’s staying in the SEC East and joining the Missouri Tigers.
“#committed,” Smith wrote, adding an image of a Tiger to signify his new team. The post also included some photos of himself wearing a Missouri jersey and a chain that said “Show Me.”
Smith received no shortage of love from his new fanbase:
“I knew it 🔥🔥🔥 let’s ball brother,” one user replied.
“Go be great baby!!” wrote another.
“go be great man!” a third user wrote.
In two seasons with the Bulldogs, Smith had six tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass defended.Â
Will Darris Smith make an even bigger impact at Missouri?
