Things got a little heated during the first half of tonight’s Missouri-Alabama game in Tuscaloosa.
With 7:34 remaining before halftime, Missouri guard Anthony Robinson II got tangled up with an Alabama counterpart while going for a loose ball in front of the Crimson Tide bench.
As the Tigers’ Aidan Shaw came in to defend his teammate and confront the ‘Bama player, officials stepped in to prevent more fireworks. Crimson Tide head coach Nate Oats also got involved, shoving Shaw out of the way and telling him to “get out.”
Take a look.

Breaking up a scuffle and protecting your players is one thing, but putting your hands on an opposing player and shoving him away, even in a scenario like this one, is another.
We’ll see what Oats has to say postgame, but it would not be surprising if he faces some sort of discipline for his actions.
Meanwhile, Alabama (11-5) leads 8-8 Missouri 36-34 at halftime.
