The Morning Commute for Tuesday, November 26
Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Mizzou Football Recruiting.
It’s the last week of the College Football regular season and with the offseason upon us, it’s time to shift our focus to Mizzou’s 2025 recruiting class.
Mizzou target Tobi Haastrup, a four-star defensive end from Houston, Texas has announced his final six schools and Missouri has made the cut — competing with Oregon, USC, Texas Tech, Michigan, and Florida State for his services.
According to Mike Roach of 247Sports, Haastrup will announce his decision on Signing Day — which is Wednesday, December 4th.

Haastrup made an official visit to Mizzou back in October. He visited Michigan last weekend and Oregon will be his last visit before his commitment.
Missouri hasn’t landed a commitment since Dakotah Terrell on September 30th, so if you need a refresher — the Tigers’ 2025 recruiting class currently ranks 27th on Rivals and 20th on 247Sports.
The transfer portal officially opens on December 9th. Mizzou will be plenty active there as well.

“It’s still early and Mizzou has a few very challenging games ahead that will show us how much they’ve really gelled. But it’s hard not to get excited about a team whose advanced profile is starting to look more and more like a unit with a legitimate shot at the NCAA Tournament.”
The talent is there on this Mizzou Basketball team to be a sleeper in the SEC.
“But when it came time to grind Mississippi State’s defense into a fine powder on Saturday night, Carroll was Kirby Moore’s blunt instrument of choice.”
Marcus Carroll’s performance at Mississippi State earns him No. 1 on the latest MV3 poll.
“I can’t decide if it’s more fun or more depressing to think about it that way, but I do feel the Tigers would have had an outside shot at making it into the playoff field.”
Mizzou would be in the CFP mix if they would have won at South Carolina.
“This was the first time we saw Mizzou win an SEC road game since Texas A&M in 2014.”

Plenty of good hoop’s pics from Cal over the previous week.
- Game Recap from Dylan Heinrich: Mizzou WBB flunks first test of the season in 82-59 loss to Syracuse
“Even though most students are out on Thanksgiving break, Mizzou WBB was taken to school in its biggest loss of the season.”
A strong statement here from Dylan. Tigers drop to 5-3 on the season, ending their four-game winning streak.
