So hey, maybe Mizzou is still a really good team despite losing to Tennessee and Texas A&M by a combined seven points!
Mark Mitchell led the Tigers with a career-high 25 points, and he also eclipsed 1,000 points in his career.

T3 Bracketology has also called Mizzou as a “LOCK” to make the NCAA Tournament.
MIZ
Missouri Tigers…welcome to LOCK status!
Dennis Gates has Mizzou playing great basketball, multiple good road wins, and a good non con win. They’ve done enough.

Yesterday at Rock M and Rock M+
“If they end up losing, what do you find easier to move on from, a blowout loss, or a thriller that gets away in the end?”
For me, I’d say a blowout loss. I wasn’t over that Texas A&M heartbreaker until Mizzou Hoops won last night.

“After facing UCF on Tuesday night (this was written before the game), they’ll head back to Clearwater for the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational. Here’s who they’re facing and how their seasons have started: (also read my preview here). Rankings are Softball America/NFCA Coaches rankings).”
After a 4-1 opening weekend mixed in with the loss to UCF, Mizzou Softball looks to get back on track at the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational.
Through a classic Midwest snowfall, two old Midwest rivals will reunite on the hardwood.

“This is a position Tigers fans can feel plenty of confidence in entering the 2025 season, returning nearly all of last season’s production with two solid contributors.”
Mizzou Baseball has some talent to work with at the catcher position with Jedier Hernandez and Mateo Serna.
- MBB Live Thread from Adeen Rao: Mizzou looking to snap two-game skid against Oklahoma
- Gamer from Quentin Corpuel: Mitchell has career night as Mizzou rolls over Oklahoma
“Behind a career performance from Mark Mitchell and a stifling defensive effort, the Tigers toppled Oklahoma 82-58. The win extended their home winning streak over the Sooners to seven, a streak that dates all the way back to 2003.”
Mizzou owns Oklahoma in hoops, huh? That’s cool!
- Over at Rock M+: A film review on Caleb Grill
New at RM+ | Despite an off day against Texas A&M, Caleb Grill remains on pace to be the top catch-and-shoot threat among high-major programs.
So, I looked at how the sixth-year senior gets those looks and generates the gravity that comes with them.
