Early transfers to Columbia with starting experience and two years of eligibility.
The spring transfer portal is often viewed as the less consequential of the two major portal windows in college football. But don’t tell Eli Drinkwitz that.
On Tuesday, Drinkwitz continued Missouri’s run of adding high-upside talent from the portal, securing the commitment of Florida State OL Jaylen Early.
BREAKING: Florida State transfer OL Jaylen Early has Committed to Missouri, he tells @on3sports

Early comes to Mizzou with extensive experience starting and rotating for the Seminoles, who just endured a disastrous year under Mike Norvell. And while that might give some Tiger fans pause, Early graded out as the Seminoles best offensive lineman on the season, earning a season 79 score from Pro Football Focus — a score that would’ve ranked third behind Armand Membou and Cam’Ron Johnson last year. Early has played all of his snaps at tackle, but can switch to guard if needed. Given his experience, however, it looks like Drinkwitz and the staff have him circled as a ready-made addition to next year’s line.
