Missouri had the midweek off before a couple of huge Quadrant 1 opportunities on the road.
It’s a well-deserved midweek bye for the No. 20 Missouri Tigers, who will enter the month of February at 16-4 (5-2 SEC), with just a couple of wins away from clinching an NCAA Tournament at-large bid.
Mizzou will return to action on Saturday afternoon to start what will arguably be their toughest two-game stretch of the season — at No. 14 Mississippi State and at No. 8 Tennessee.
Missouri Basketball hasn’t won in Starkville since their first year in the SEC, so hey, maybe they’re finally due.
With plenty of more Quadrant 1 opportunities to come for the Tigers, let’s take a look at the latest bracketology projections for Mizzou:
- ESPN’s Joe Lunardi: 6 seed vs New Mexico
- CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm: 6 seed vs Baylor
- FOX Sports’ Mike DeCourcy: 7 seed vs Ohio State
- NCAA’s Andy Katz: 6 seed vs UCF/Pitt
Currently, a six seed sounds about right. That’s where the Tigers land in this latest edition of Rock-M-Tology. Let’s get to the bracket.
