Last week we saw the Georgia Bulldogs overcome a 28-point deficit against Alabama in a losing effort. But a top 10 college football team is finding itself in a similar situation and is having a much harder time erasing their deficit.
As it stands, No. 9 Missouri trails No. 25 Texas A&M 34-0. The Aggies scored on each of their first four drives and have scored touchdowns on four of their first six drives in the game. Meanwhile, the Tigers have less than 100 yards of total offense through the middle of the third quarter.
Even if by some miracle Missouri manage to win this game or simply make it closer by the end, the Tigers are going to see a pretty substantial drop in their AP top 25 ranking next week.

Fans have been taking to X for upwards of an hour to make fun of the Tigers, with most calling them “overrated.”
“There’s a distinct possibility Missouri was overrated,” one user remarked.
“Missouri might be the most fraudulent team in recent memory First play outta half and you get house called by the slowest running back in the SEC. Down horrific,” another remarked.
“Missouri was the worst top 10 team of all time dawg,” a third wrote.
“Missouri is the most overrated team in the country,” a fourth declared.
It’s not a good look for the Tigers right now. A loss here probably ends their SEC title ambitions and likely has them on the outside looking in on the College Football Playoffs.
The game is being played on ABC.
