Chad Bailey’s future with the Missouri Tigers is reportedly in question after the senior linebacker’s arrest on Sunday morning.
The 23-year-old team captain was pulled over around 1 AM not too far from Mizzou’s campus for an expired license plate and lane violation, after which he admitted to drinking and failed a sobriety test.
He was charged with DWI.

In a statement from Tigers head coach Eli Horowitz (via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch):
We are aware of the situation involving Chad Bailey. He’s been suspended according to Department of Athletics policy. We have high expectations for all of our student-athletes, on and off the field, and we will follow all departmental and campus policies.
A former three-star prospect out of Texas, Bailey played in 11 games for Missouri last season where he logged 57 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks.
The upperclassman was booked at about 2:45 AM and released after posting $500 bond, per the Boone County (Mo.) Sheriff’s Office.
